A 12-day expedition designed to discover Argentina’s extraordinary winemaking diversity alongside Winemaker Joshua Tripp and local expert Ignacio Pitrella.

From the extreme high-altitude vineyards of the Calchaquí Valleys to the most prestigious regions of Mendoza, this journey offers privileged access to some of the country’s most influential wineries—many of them well off the traditional wine tourism circuits.

Through private tastings, encounters with winemakers, agronomists, and proprietors, and a carefully curated selection of exceptional dining experiences and accommodations, we will explore how the mountains, the climate, and the people have shaped one of the most fascinating wine cultures in the world.

An experience that immerses us in the true identity of Argentine wine, told by those who shape it every single day.

Roadmap

Our journey begins in Salta, where colonial history and the landscapes of Northern Argentina serve as the gateway to the Calchaquí Valleys.

In Cafayate, we will discover some of the highest vineyards in the world and a viticulture shaped by extreme conditions that give rise to wines of immense personality and character.

The expedition continues in Mendoza, the epicenter of contemporary Argentine winemaking. Throughout the trip, we will explore the province’s premier producing regions, visiting 13 carefully selected wineries—including world-renowned icons like Zuccardi, Norton, and Alfa Crux—to understand the diversity of styles, philosophies, and terroirs that have made Mendoza one of the great wine capitals of the world.

Each stop has been chosen not only for the quality of its wines, but also for the stories, people, and visions that represent the evolution of Argentine viticulture.

Gastronomy & Accommodations / Dining & Relaxation

Gastronomy is an essential part of this experience. Each meal has been curated to create a dialogue with the region's wines, featuring everything from iconic steakhouses and traditional Argentine cuisine to tasting menus crafted by some of the country’s most prominent chefs. Relaxation is also a cornerstone of the journey. We will stay in a collection of properties carefully chosen for their character, design, and privileged locations: boutique hotels in the historic centers of Salta and Mendoza, exclusive estates in Cafayate, and high-end lodges surrounded by vineyards at the foot of the Andes in the Uco Valley. These spaces are designed to invite you to enjoy the landscape, privacy, and the unhurried pace that a great wine experience demands.
